Good Works Team

May 5, 2009

9:30 a.m.

The Good Works Team met May 5 at T-Bone Tooter in Churchville with the following members present:  Charles, Delton, Betty Young, Fora Mae, Sue and Pastor Glen.

 Sue led devotions "Not Ashamed" from II Timothy 1:8-14.

As of today, 41 people have signed up for the Church trip to Sight and Sound Theater in Lancaster, PA.  The Church will go ahead and purchase 55 tickets (we have 21 days to get money back if only 47 go.)

Various ministries were discussed with the following results:  Betty Young will continue looking for Gospel Groups to perform at Church.

Delton and Flora Mae will discuss and get back with us on the Senior Ministry.

Pastor Glen will get back with us at the next meeting concerning flood victims, etc.

Charles will recommend that the Administrative Board and Council of Ministry combine and out of that -  three committees - Outreach Ministries, PPR, and Trustees will do the work of the Church. 

The Committee again reviewed the various ministries survey results and came to the conclusion that several were already being taken care of within the Church or Ministerial Association and several could be elimiated.

Charles asked everyone to ReTHINK on overlooked Church and Community needs and bring a list of needs they felt were important to our next meeting.

Pastor Glen will lead devotions in June.
